am i dreaming?

wow...im home....I FEEL LIKE IM IN A DREAM. like i keep looking at things, and just staring at them...cause im in winnipeg, not australia :S this is such a farmtown! it even smells lke hay! no joke...stepped out the airport and...smelt hay O_o haha and it took like 30 mins to drive from one side of the city to the other...in sydney a 30 min drive is like to the mall or somewhere considered really close...haha. insanity.

sorry if ive been wierd to those who have seen me already...im just adjusting...and stuff :/ i truly am really happy to see you all though :)

ran into someone from school at the mall yesterday...and i freaked out lol i like jumped on her. so wierd to see people i know..

winding down

went to see jane goodall talk last night at town hall. She is such a cute little lady. so inspiriing...like she went into the jungle by herself when she was in her early twenties...and that was back when africa was still wild and not influenced by tourism or anything of the sort. and she worked with david leeky! i didnt know that...dude he was like the guy who excavated the oldest human body ever found and has done tons of research and stuff on human evolution. crazy stuff.

anyways ya that was just a casual monday...no biggie.. :P and this weekend im going for my advanced divers license, so that means im doing a night dive (int the pitch black...kinda worried :P) and deep dive a navigation dive and a boat dive. wish me luck...im a little nervous

next week is my last week of school lfhlkdshlsgdjahl and marty comes!!! and my last day of school is CANADA DAY! LOL so me and my other canadian friend are gunna go crazy at school :P

the outback

sorry this happened a while ago, i just cant be stuffed to blog haha. sorry i love you guys and i know some of you actually check my blog so i'll try to update it for you select few :P

so i went to the out back with my mum. was epic. reached temperatures of like 30 during the day then went to below zero at night. crazy stuff right there. so i saw uluru, and climbed it....man if i ever felt connected with nature it was up there....that was sureal. its so massive and poeple relied on it as shelter and a source of water since ancient times. we had a Mala person tell us some of their stories and lores. it was...mystical... haha sorry lame word, but it was.

we chased kangaroos and wild camles (ya they have camles here :s) for like a whole day, and saw fresh dingo tracks....dingo ate my baby! :P haha apperantly this guy was going for a jog in the morning and a dingo was trailing him..... O_O run man run!

we also went to a cattle ranch, it was legitimately and old school cttle ranch. We had some amazing beef for dinner :) yummy

i took a peice of uluru...shhh dont tell anyone!

100th post

here is my turtle!!! took 30 mins and cost $120. i didnt cry or say ow! legit i didnt complain or anything :P im a toughy...but it did hurt like a biotch...felt like cats digging their anils into my back and srcatching me for 30 mins straight lol. but i loooove it sooo much!! im going back to get it retouched in three weeks, just to fix up the middle abit, add some more dots and colouring in the middle shell part. But other than that its perfect!! :D

just climbed up to the top of the sydney harbour bridge with ma sister like a boss!!!! most beautiful city i have ever seen. we were soooooo high up. i loved it

soo emma is leaving tomorrow and school life is starting up again :{ i just wanna go home with her, i feel like ive been here long enough and im starting to really miss somethings....and some people, but i guess it will get better when sarah gets here :} i'll have my dear sis. we can be silly and stuff. sucks that i have school while she is here though...wont be able to do much stuff, and its exam time now. frick i dont wanna go back to school, this is gunna suck. i havent seen my friends all break erg. awe struck

this is what people live for. right here, under the water. suit on tank on mask on, 10m jump and bam! you're in the reef. as you sink all is chaos, waves, bubbles and people surrounding you for the first 5m then 2m lower and coral starts to come in focus. Bright greens, pink, and spongey browns. little fishes surround you, each one you see different, like a snow flake none the same. there is so much to look at you dont know where to turn. so you float and just watch. The water is green and vibrant and the thrashing waves sway you side to side, but they aren't threatening down here. then all of a sudden someone, cant tell who, is waving and pointing at something, can't tell wat, and are signaling for me to swim forward. so i start swimming wondering wat it could be. as i get closer i realize its not just a fish but a big green sea turtle! with wide eyes looking right at me. there it is, just hanging out, munching on some seaweed. people start going insane, taking pictures, petting it, swimming with it. i gotta say that turtle was my favorite thing that day. the dive goes on, so many fish too many different colors to count. some small, smaller than my pinky, and some huge! half my size. I spotted a shark and showed everyone, it was a white tipped reef shark. just cruizin along minding his own business. today was amazing. got a bit sea sick on the way there, but also saw some dolphins swimming along side the boat, so that was a nice distraction from me wanting to vomit. pictures will be up soon. hopefully the underwater camera worked. :} i shall report back tomorrow... going on a rainforest tour :) and im going to hold/cuddle a koala!!!
